Hunan University, located in Changsha, Hunan province, is one of the oldest and most important national universities in China. Hunan University is the member of both Project 985 and Project 211, and sponsored by the Ministry of Education of China aiming to become a well-known world-class university.The school has 23 colleges and graduate schools, with 25 doctoral-level disciplines, 41 master's level subjects and 20 professional degree programs. Disciplines covers 10 major disciplines of philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, management science, and medicine. It has two national key laboratories, a national engineering research center and 11 department, Provincial Key Laboratory of Engineering and Technology Research Centers.
